3 million new PSN users since attack |

So apparently when your company loses half your users information and your company goes off line for weeks at a time AND you get sloppy second DLC from a competing console, you can still gain a lot of users. 3 million users to be exact. At the IFA Conference yesterday, Sony CEO Howard Stringer claimed that since the outage over 3 million PSN users have joined up. To put that in comparison there is only over two and a half million users just on Steam alone.
Whilst the numbers are a tad outrageous to say the least, Stringer had this to say, "We are aggressively expanding its content [and] have more than 3 million new customers since the network came back online, and sales are exceeding what we had before the cyber-attacks." Sony has definitely stepped up it's game and with the love and support Valve has given them since the attacks, next year might be Sony's time to shine.
Howard was talking about 2011 saying "we at Sony have been flooded, we've been flattened, we've been hacked, we've been singed. But the summer of our discontent is behind us."
Stringer also revealed launch information for Sony's Tablet S device, which will be priced at $499 and $599 at launch - the same as Apple's market-leading iPad. Some people are already speculating that the tablet and the Vita will share cross platform apps and games, as well as a few games from Sony's back catalogue - basically Crash Bandicoot almost anywhere you want him to be.

And don't even say that the picture mislead you to think the story was about something else, cause when you click on the link to THIS article, all you see is the title (which is impossible to be mislead about) and you see a picture of the XMB... I'm still lost about you getting confused what this story is about.
Sure there is a PlayStation Plus pic in the actual story (not in the little preview pic directing to the link), but have you ever heard of the saying, "never judge a book by it's cover"?
Well you my retarded pal, are a book that I can judge by its cover.

It's been over two weeks and everytime I click the "Forgotten password" it says site under maintenance. I can't believe how people can still like the PSN... I hate it with passion but since there is no other way to get my DLC, I'm forced to use that crap (well, good thing I've only bought DLC to one game).

This is CRAP!
I for one - made a completely NEW PSN account after the Hackin'.
I previously had 4 PSN accounts (1 for several regions) I am sure most people have more than 1 too.
Anyway - it is impossible to DELETE your old existing accounts (like XBOX Live) so I would say that alot of people re-signed up and dropped their older other accounts (that are still registered but wont be signed into ever again)
So when SONY state that theres 3 million extra sign-ups!!!!I doubt it very much!!!!IF ANY - maybe less than a million ALL NEW Memebers may have signed-up. The other 2 mil plus are those like me - repeaters!!!LOL
SONY - Good riddance!!

Sony is a big company, and has lots of people working for them. I'm sure plenty of them have thought about miscalculation due to a person making multiple accounts. You are not the only one who has thought about this.
Sorry to break your spirit thinking you are the smartest person by cracking Sony's "flaw" in their numbers.

So are you also someone who cries BS and claims that at least 50% of the new console XBL accounts are just people with brand new 360's because their old one blew up?
Get real.

Life goes on and everyone who thought this would be the end of Sony is an ignorant fool that knows very little about life in general.
