New US Jobs made with games in Louisana and Texas |

Last week, the Texas Film Commission opened their pockets for more game studios to take advantage of their tax incentives and now Louisana has gotten some great news with French developer GameLoft to create - not only a new games studio, based on the state's tax breaks, but also 150 new jobs for game creators alike.

The mobile developer was quite enthused with a long term plan relating to the company. "As it stands, we expect to employ an approximate 150 people in our New Orleans studio over the course of the next 10 years," Samir El Agili, the studio manager for the company said in an interview with Joystiq.
With GameLoft sales being absolutely amazing for the first quarter this year, it's no wonder they've expanded to the US with such style. However, they were humble with their future, "...with fast pace and rapid expansion of the handheld and downloadable market, we will adjust that number accordingly..." They are prepared for the best and worst in this current market but Godspeed to them
