Retro Arch Super Emulator Update |
Listed in: Homebrew Tags: emulator, ps3 emulator, ps3 hacks, ps3 homebrew, retro arch
Edit: We would like to offer our apology on an error made when this story was originally posted. It should have been noted that Squarepusher aka Twinaphex as well as Themaister and other RetroArch contributors should have been credited. There should also be mention of pete_uk and Toadking for their contributions.
Retro Arch a multi-system emulator or if you like, a super emulator… but I don’t think that term is going to be catching on.

Sega CD support in the future.
In the future we will be seeing Sega CD/ Mega-CD support to genesis_plus_gx libretro core.
Source TwinAphex aka Squarepusher2 @ ps3crunch was asked if he would be porting the new update of genesis plus gx (v1.7) that gives Sega CD (Mega CD) support.
Of course. Just know that Genesis Plus GX right now doesn't have CD audio support for Mega CD games - ekeeke has said this will come in a later version. So a game like Sonic CD will have the audio CD tracks missing right now.
Hopefully it won't take him long to add that.
This project is really starting to look good. Why don’t you tell us what you think and leave us a comment below with your thoughts on Retro Arch.
