Showtime MegaViewer Update
PS3 homebrew developer NP (1NP1) has as of a few days ago dropped an update for his Showtime MegaViewer Plugin. What is also pretty cool is that he shared the source code. You can get a full list of features at the source as well as some additional notes from NP.

Yet Another Bypass v1.3
PS3 dev cotojestwtf who is also known as cotojwtf released a couple of updates to YAB (Yet Another Bypass) tool delivering v1.3. YAB lets EU PS3 consoles running Official Firmware 4.00 to bypass the 4.10 update and gives acces for download. Developer bcklzz realesed some important news that will help you make this tool compatible with your US PS3 consoles which you can read below. THIS DOES NOT WORK FOR JB or CFW PS3s!!! Be sure to check the readme file as it contains important notes.

The Catachthonic v0.9
It wouldn't be Friday without another update from ThatOtherPerson who is back at it again and has released The Catachthonic version 0.9. This was formerly called "Something" and is 3D project in which you operate in an environment variable. ThatOtherPerson had the following to say about The Catachthonic.
"Remember that thing I was making (Something/TempName/TheClosedSystem)? It was 3D, had third and first person view modes and an editable environment? Well I have decided the final title will be The Catachthonic.
I’ve added some more things you can do. You can go into slow motion now. You can also spawn enemies that look just like you and follow you around.
I’ve added dirt above you (I’ve decided that the game will take place underground but for performance reasons I may actually remove this later or make it an optional cosmetic thing exclusive to the Windows version).
There are more things you can enable or disable now in the Windows version by editing the settings.ini file.
I’m pretty sure there are other things but I’m not sure what was done before and what was done after the previous release.
Wii controls:
Analog stick = Move
IR pointer = Aim
C = Jump
B = Action
Left and Right = Change action
A = Change view"
