Just as it has always been a great week for news, there has also been a ton of awesome files for you to download from our servers too. Whether you are heavy onto the more modern PS3 community, or you would much rather get in touch with your roots on the PSP, QJ is the home for some of the very latest and best releases that these hack-based clans have seen. If you happen to have been busy in the past week or so, this round up will get you all the fixes and updates that I think you all should know about. AldosTools v2.0.6.3 - PS3 If you consider yourself to be among the most advanced members in the PS3 community, then AldosTools is probably a package that you have heard of before. As you may have head before, a hacker can only be as good as the tools they use. This little all-in-one piece of software does its best to bring the lastest versions of all the tools that you could ever possibly need all in one roof. Even if the functions can tend to overlap i certain circumstances, these are the apps you are going to need if you plan to get the most out of your hacked machine. Whether you want to mess with savedata for cheats, or possibly just need to locate some important ID info, this is the set you will probably be ablr to use to get it done. Most notably in this new edition is the inclusion of a tool called PS3 ConsoleID that works to show the PSID or ConsoleIDs from the v1 or lv2 dumps that you have generated with a loader like multiMAN or the Rebug Toolbox. If that's not enough for you though, some of the newer tools such as PS3 FTP Client, Bruteforce SaveData, and PKG ContentID have been revised to account for a series of fixes to make their already stellar functions even better. It will take too long to list all the things you can do with AldosTools, so maybe the best way to solve that problem is to try it out for yourself! Next Up I've got another piece of PS3 software that will help you get the most out of your PS2 backups. multiMAN v04.19.05 - PS3 Aside from having the tools you need to hack, there is also the essential need of making sure you have the right managing software to be able to play all of your favorite games, media, and homebrew. multiMAN by deank is definately one of the most popular of these choices because it simply does more things than any hacker could ever posibly imagine. Lately, there's no real denying that the major focus of the many multiMAN fixes out there have een related to PSX backup support, but as of right now I've got a different topic to report. If you are more of a lover for the PS2, then this is an upgrade that is highly worth considering. While there are vertainly few applicable games on the market that could use this, multiMAN now supports the aility to load PS2 add-os alonngside full games. Most popular in this kind of title would be the Singstar series which had a slew of diferent expansion packs that were designed to use in addition to what was on the original game. By simply creating a directory for the rip within the main game folder, you'll be able to get things started. Once you set the loader to Hermes and use a PS3 disc to boot, multiMAN will list all of your add-ons to pick the one you would like to load. Then when the time comes, you swap out the PS3 disc for a PS2 one to get the party started. What I'm saying is, this is essentially an add-on for add-ons! If you're looking for some new homebrew to try, this next PSP option has certainly got a ton of attention on our servers. Soldiers of Future Beta 3 - PSP With games like Call of Duty dominating the charts year after year, sometimes it's hard to even remember a time when shooters weren't made in three dimensions. However, if you can best recall the days of the classics you can probably recall the 2D era if you think hard enough. It was a time where side-scrolling was king, and there may not have been many weapons to choose from, but each one was equally deadly to handle the task at hand. This homebrew called Soldiers of Future works to replicate that era with its simple animation style and gameplay mechanics. With running, jumping, and shooting being your main ways to survive, you'll have to have quick reflexes over tactical knowledge to do well in this early effort. Beta 3 is indeed special though because it does add the ability to drop a landmine on to the playing field by pressing the triangle button. These powerful add-ons can be bought through high player performance. Speaking of performance, this beta also allows for much more fluid gameplay with less lagging than the previous release. The health bar has also been revised, and there is even a new shield that can be used with triangle as well to make sure that snazzy display meter doesn't hit ero too quickly. If you're looking for a fresh but classic PSP experience, this beta is certainly one way to solve that problem.

Sometimes that classic homebrew style just isn't enough to help you relive those days of gaming's past. If that's the case, then that is when our community generally turns to emulators to get their fix. Sure this very site happens to host a lot of options for those of you that like to play games for systems like the Genesis or SNES, but the NeoGeo in general is a console and arcade machine that is often under-represented in our culture. That's a really sad notion when you think about it. Considering this bright and powerful machine was home to games like Metal Slug and Marvel Vs. Capcom how could it not get a little more love? Thanks to its cult of followers here on QJ, this brand new updated emulator was among the very top downloads for this entire week.

So what will you be getting in this unofficial revision? How does support for Japanese MVS and AES variations sound? There are also a bunch of options for high game compatibility if you would like to use something like Unibios for a more easy to use experience. To add on to that idea, Unibios has been updated to 3.0 too which means you'll be able to play more games in a better fashion than you would have before. If you're a real diehard for NeoGeo, the best news of all might be that this version has support for 1024 ROMs in its main directory, and can support a ROM length of ten. Pretty solid update for a system that could surely use a little more representation.

We close off this week with one more PSP download that absolutely caught the aging scene by surprise!
