Simple PS3Updates v1.3.1001 - PS3

If you're a member of the PS3 scene, getting your updates can be a priority, but also a very time consuming one. As you know, being an informed community member takes a lot more work than simply heading over to QJ to see what's new up in the feed. There are also tons and tons of content that may need downloading depending on how  many games you've got. This little piece of software is one of the best and most efficient ways to get those updates to your bluray titles. Essentially it checks the gameID on their server and then hooks you up with the very latest playable version. Scene members will call this a very handy app with good reason.

While this particular revision only really fixes the single "runtime error 9" when using the search function, v1.3 in general gave quite a bit back by giving us that very function to navigate to our favorite titles more easily. Not to mention improvements have already been made to ensure better connections and faster download speeds. If you've got a lot of ground to cover, that should be music to your ears. The full changelog is in the link above, but this is certainly a tool that can make your life a whole lot easier despite its somewhat clunky interface.

Finally, we end our recap with a brand new Wii download that remains one of the hottest files of this entire week!

So glad to see RetroArch back on the scene. Also doesn't hurt to see some Wii homebrew dominating the charts for once either. I think I may try and get some more coverage for Wii if I can.
