Hero City 2 is a homebrew game that was initially released for the Wii and over time was refined in to the current version 1.3.  We now have Hero City 2 for the PS3. In this game you will take control of the unnamed hero and use his super strength to destroy the monsters and robots that are running amuck in this beautifully designed open world enviroment.  All the while you are trying to  collect items to upgrade your abilities and unlock new tasks.

Currently the game is running at a full 60fps in HD but contains a few minor differences from the original release on the Wii.  But that shouldn’t effect the gameplay on the PS3. While this port is well built there is still some work to be done.  But if ThatOtherDev’s other projects have shown us anything it’s that there is nothing a dedicated mind cannot accomplish, and I for one can’t wait to see what’s next.
