DeanK, multiMAN, Cobra and mmCM are all recognizable names in the PS3 Scene. One has developed one, while the other has teamed up with the first one to produce the remaining name there. If you're confused, the Cobra USB team have been working with DeanK to out a specialized version of the backup manager with dongle specific features added in. This special manager runs with a 'mmCM' tag.

As of late, development has been rather slow. You would have noticed if you've been subscribed to the update emails that the Cobra team sends out with each new release. Apparently, the reason behind the gap in releases is that everyone is working on mmOS. mmOS as you may think, isn't an entire operating system or custom firmware in this sense. It's a replacement of the file manager of multiMAN presented in a desktop like interface. Get where the name comes from now?

Here's a small peek at the included features:

• supports 8 windows with up to 4096 entries per folder
• double-click to launch video/music/picture/games...
• single-click to multiple-select for copy/move
• desktop icons for fast access to various options/functions
• (shortcuts for showtime, games, themes, user created shortcuts)

There has been no ETA posted, but all of you guys know to keep an eye on your email for any updates from the Cobra team.
