Just as the name itself implies, PSTwit Beta 5 is an early version of a Twitter application coded for PSP 2000 or 3000. In general then, for the most part you're going to get almost exactly what you would expect albeit in a very trimmed down and simple interface that accommodates for system specs. You'll have basic access to your feed with just a few other additional functions but for now this is a pretty decent proof of concept for what could be a powerful app within the scene. You guys have already done enough to bring the download count this high, so it's clear that a lot of our readers are looking to get their hashing fix anyway they possibly can.

While developer NextMont does contend this is more of a preview than anything else, this beta became popular because it added so many crucial functions including search and the ability to load links within tweets through the onboard browser. Userstreams can also be accessed as well. The only downside to all this fun is that in its present state PSTwit uses too much RAM, it will not work on the PSP 1000 or PS Vita. However in due time you old and new device users will get a chance to try this out.
Up next we've got a PSP homebrew newcomer that hopes to jog your memory!
