If you're a real PS3 hacking scene member, odds are you'll be pretty familiar with the fact that the scene really hasn't changed all that much since the introduction of the first 3.55 CFW. You've probably become pretty accustomed to the fact that you won't be getting all of the latest OFW advancements and may get barred from the PSN every now and again, but hey that's just part of sticking it to the man am I right? Still thanks to a brand new CFW from the Bluedisk team, you'll now be able to have all the benefits of OFW 4.25 without sacrificing all of that added functionality.

For those that have been following the scene lately, you've probably heard plenty of reports about an infamous 4.25 CFW floating around on the interwebs. As developers like deank start to build in support for that environment in the latest builds of multiMAN, we all figured that something cool might be on the horizon. However let it be known that this release is actually not the same one that dean has been talking about. This is in fact a completely seperate release that seems to have beat that previous team to the punch. As long as you have 3.55 CFW on your system, you'll be able to upgrade to this one which will allow for unfettered PSN access, as well as the promise of being able to boot most game titles from any USB device.
Sounds pretty awesome am I right? Well, the trick behind this firmware is that it isn't exactly a cinch to get. The first step is to head on over to their website and request a unique firmware key by emailing the administrators. From there, you will enter the key on their page and be asked to include a copy of your system's EID0.BIN. Steps are included on how to do this, and once completed a completely individual .PUP file will be generated that works specifically for your system. It's certainly a long process that's rife with stages of DRM, but for those looking to give their console a fresh coat of paint, this is a pretty solid way to do that.
