For loyal members of the PS3 scene ASToolsPS3 is probably a name that you have at the very least heard before. Developed by a very talented team of coders, this software aims to be able to handle as many basic hacking functions as possible within a single program. Certainly a program that allows you to handle the essentials like hard drive reformats and CEX to DEX conversion has generated a pretty solid buzz within the community, and thanks to this new update even more people will be able to enjoy these advanced functions.

As part of this update, one of the key additives is that there is now Arabic language support within the GUI. From that perspective then, it's fair to say that the user base behind this program is about to grow considerably. However, because the team is not necessarily native to this language, there is a plea from the coders that if you see any inaccuracies in the presentation to please help them out to make the experience as linguistically correct as possible.

However, there is a lot more to this software than simply just adding an extra language option. There are also plenty of added functionality options to make ASTools even more useful than it already is. Such features includ an EBOOT/SELF editor, a better more effective way to format your HDD than in previous versions, and an update alarm to let you know when never versions are available. In terms of bug fixes, issues with startup, CEX to DEX, and overall program security have been addressed. Needless to say then, this a pretty complete and feature-packed update that users of the older versions of this software would be sorry if they didn't check out.
