Dead Island Riptide is slated for release late next month and picks up where the original left off.  But instead of everything being all hunky-dory (which would lead to a rather boring game) things go terribly wrong. After our heroes from the island escape via helicopter to the safety of a warship, things spiral out of control and quickly go from bad to worse.  The virus has spread throughout the crew and eventually leads to the ship running aground.  Once again this leaves us in a tropical nightmare.

Whether or not you were a fan of the original Dead Island the next instalment is shaping up to quite the horrific and gory adventure.  I for one am looking forward to it. That being said I do have to point out that the whole zombie fad has been running strong for the last few years and it’s only a matter of time before it’s traded in for something new.  My question is will Dead Island: Riptide fall victim to an over saturated zombie market when it comes out April 23 for PS3, XBOX360, and PC?  Tell us what you think.
