With the much rumored Starhawk finally out in the open, Sony and developer LightBox Interactive are now free to build up all kinds of hype for the much-awaited Warhawk follow-up. For one, those who attend E3 this year will find a playable build of the game on the show floor. If you can't come to the yearly gaming expo, you can watch this new video from SCEA showing the sci-fi shooter's multiplayer component.

SCEA senior producer Harvard Bonin explains: "We've designed Starhawk's multiplayer to be just as much fun as Warhawk's, but now with our new Build & Battle toy box, you shooter fans will have something you haven’t truly experienced before – the ability to change the battlefield on the fly."

Starhawk is currently set for release sometime next year. The game will be exclusively available on PS3. It's going to be one of Sony's E3 centerpieces, so if you're looking for more details on this game don't forget to catch the livestream of Sony's E3 press conference.
