If you were waiting for Twisted Metal to make its way onto the PlayStation Network, the wait is almost over.

Twisted Metal was released earlier this year for the PlayStation 3 with the hopes of reviving the old popular franchise.  According to the PlayStation Blog, the $60 retail release will now be making its way over to the PlayStation Network in North America starting on October 30^th.  The game will cost $39.99, which knocks one-third off of the original price.  Of course, you could always go the route of looking for a hard copy of the game at even more of a discount on Amazon, Ebay, etc. but this does give you one more option of picking it up.

The PSN Twisted Metal release will contain both single player and multiplayer.
