If you were looking forward to playing Retro City Rampage, you won’t have to wait much longer, as the game’s official release date has just been announced.

Retro City Rampage will release on Tuesday, October 9 for the PlayStation 3, PS Vita, and PC for $14.99.  There are plans to release Retro City Rampage for the Xbox 360 and Wii as well, but those dates have not been announced as of yet.  The game was originally set to release earlier in May, but it was delayed for some reason.

Retro City Rampage certainly lives up to its retro name in terms of its overall look, so if you are on the hunt for some old school fun, this might be the game for you.  The game centers around a character named Jester who does carries out odd jobs for the local mob, and it features over 50 missions, 30 arcade challenges, a ton of weapons, vehicles, and more in its open world setting.
