Portal 2 getting free DLC

If you're looking to further extend the number of hours you already spent on Portal 2's innovative puzzles then don't worry; Valve's got your back. The company has announced more details regarding the upcoming downloadable content being prepared for Portal 2.

 

The game's first DLC will feature new test chambers for players, leaderboards, challenge mode for single and multiplayer modes, and more. The announcement did not clarify whether the test chambers will be single-player only or will also be available in multiplayer mode. As for the "more" part, Valve's Doug Lombardi has said before that the game will be supported "with more videos or more comics," so perhaps those will be included in the first pack as well.

 

The DLC is currently being readied for a summer release. The best thing about it is that it will be available free of charge for all of the game's platforms (PC, Mac, Xbox 360, and PS3).

Heres a great idea for multiplayer, put a bunch of people in a open test chamber, every one gets a portal gun, but you all share the same 2 portals and see who gets to the end first, if anything it would be a good laugh

I really enjoy this game. although it doesnt have any much replay value its one of the best games ever. The humor employed in this game really makes it so fun to play. the developers really thought of the player when developing this game and for further proof that they take care of there customers is here with this free DLC. I dont think DLC should be free ALL the time, time did go into creating the DLC as well, but i think making the DLC free here really stregthens customer loyalty to this franchise. I would actually pay for this DLC to be honest, they made the game so well, i would love to support these developers so that more games of this caliber will make it to the PS3. Games like this are of short supply.
