No Trophies for PSP Remaster games |
Listed in: Games Tags: psp remaster, Sony

PSP Remaster games -- the ones that are being converted into PS3 titles -- are getting buffed up with a lot of new PS3-specific features. These include HD visuals, 3D support, DualShock controls, and even cross-platform multiplayer between PSP and PS3 gamers. One thing that Sony won't be adding, however, is Trophy support.
Gaming news blog Siliconera reports that the lack of Trophies was confirmed by Sony Computer Entertainment support to the Japanese site PlayStation-CS Blog. There goes any chance of you getting a Trophy for taking down dual Jinougas on your own in Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD.
Siliconera speculates that it could be due to the PS3-PSP connectivity feature of the PSP Remaster games. You can transfer saves between the original and PS3 versions of a PSP Remaster game, so hacking the PSP save to get Trophies would be rather easy. That'd piss off not just Sony, but those who actually put in the time and effort to unlock Trophies legitimately.

All companies have one thing in common, they all want money.

This is not about simply emulating the games 1:1. This is about remastering them. Making them better. If you want to play your PSP games on a large screen then here you go:
