New Final Fantasy XIII 2 Trailer Shows Off Environments |

Whether you're a fan of the Final Fantasy series or not, you can't deny that the games usually just look great. The developers of these games love the genre and it shows. They put so much into the visuals of the FF games that sometimes when playing them you just have to stop and smell the roses, so to speak.
In the new trailer for FF XIII-2 (now that's a mouthful), you can see that they're not pulling any punches. There are awesome cityscapes, jungles, and beaches galore all waiting to be explored. It looks like Square Enix is going for a little more of an air of exploration, which for my dollar is always a good thing. The trailer promises "familiar locations fully updated, multiple paths to explore, and new locations" and you just know it's going to deliver. It's hard to tell what the heck is going on (it looks like a cross between Dungeons & Dragons and Las Vegas, with a sprinkle of Pokemon to taste), but hey it sure is breathtaking!
Final Fantasy XIII-2 will be released early next year.
