Heads up, fight fans. Mortal Kombat is well on its way to retail shelves and, eventually, your living room. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios have announced that the reboot of the bloody classic has reached gold status. Let's all celebrate with this trailer of series mainstay Johnny Cage showing just how dirty a big-time movie actor fights.
The latest entry in the long-running fighting game series introduces a number of new game-play features including tag team, a deep story mode, and, exclusively for the PS3, Stereoscopic 3D. Players can choose from an extensive line-up of the game’s iconic warriors and challenge their friends in traditional 1 vs. 1 matches, or take on several new game modes including Challenge Tower and the soon-to-be-announced online modes. The fan-favorite Fatalities are also making a much awaited comeback.
Mortal Kombat is currently set for an April 19 launch in North America and an April 21 release in Europe.

Yea, I will download it as there is no other way for me to get it.
Aus laws have banned it from sale and also banned all imports of it so the only way to get this in Aus is to download an illegal copy.
Want to blame someone for piracy of this, blame the Aus gov as they are the ones to blame this time.
