The latest Mortal Kombat entry, which goes by the very simple name of Mortal Kombat, is now out and about, so all of the gamers who grew up playing the early arcade installements may be getting some pangs of nostalgia. As if to capitalize on that emotion, Warner Bros. today confirmed the existence of Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection.

"Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection takes gamers back to the arcades!" reads a tweet from Warner Bros. Games' UK arm. "Iconic arcade games will be available on XBLA, PSN & PC."

Not much is known about the game aside from its status as a downloadable title. Warner Bros. has so far held off on revealing a specific timeline for the collection's release. Retailer rumors, however, suggest that the collection will include Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat II, and Ultimate Mortal Kombat III.

I hope they add a closed captions feature so I can finally understand what the hell Raiden is shouting when he does his torpedo move. :D

In MK2, I got a saw and gotta suck my nuts
