Finally, a large game company has confirmed a rumour. Granted the rumour WAS based around a leaked poster, but it’s still refreshing not to hear ‘We cannot confirm nor deny these rumours’.

Sony has now admitted that LittleBigPlanet is indeed going the route of Crash Bandicoot and Jak & Daxter and is hopping into the realm of racing.

The leaked poster does show only a PS3 logo, but it’s a safe bet that it will be a Vita title too. Sony say that they are ‘looking forward to sharing details on this exciting new game in the near future’. Hopefully the near future is near, as I’m interested to see what the sackboy can bring to the table in terms of racing. I reckon it’ll be another generic racer-for-children with popular gaming icons thrown in.

Or things could go the other way and it may incorporate the level designing elements of LittleBigPlanet and blow my mind into pieces of blown mind.
