After being delayed back in April, the ICO & Shadow of the Colossus Collection is finally now just a week away. To give PS3 owners even more reason to get the HD collection, Sony has given a sneak peek at some of the collection's bonus content.

None of the extra content packed into the disc change anything gameplay-wise, but they do give players a more intimate view into what went on behind the scenes duing the creation of both ICO and Shadow of the Colossus. Included are early concept and prototype footage of both games as well as a look at a Team ICO project most may have not heard of called NICO.

NICO was conceptualized as an online game featuring hunters banding together to track down and slay enormous beasts. Kinda like Monster Hunter but with every enemy as big as the ones in Shadow of the Colossus. It never got past the concept stage but it went on to form the basis for Shadow of the Colossus.

In addition to the footage mentioned above, the disc will also contain a roundtable discussion between key members of the development team and interviews with key production staff members regarding the development of ICOShadow of the Colossus, and Team ICO's lates game, The Last Guardian.

As if the HD graphics, 3D, and trophy supprt weren't enough, these bonuses definitely make it a treat not only for fans of Team ICO and its games but for those who just want to know more about what goes on when a game is being made as well.

I never owned a PS2 (shame on me) but when I saw my friends playing these games I really wanted to have them and now I finally can!

The ending of ICO was really cute.
What a great game, up there with FF7 in my book.

Colossus was another damn fine game but was much more difficult to me. I just couldn't beat them after I think the 7th or 8th one.

True I probably could have spent another month hunting lizards to get my stats higher, but that just didn't seem like an attractive option at the time.

I'm still gonna gameshark it and finish it though one of these days.
At least just to see another cool Team ICO ending.

I completed both on ps2, so i will probably not get the HD versions. If i had a 3D tv, i might consider it though, cause both games are epic, and there is alot of depth in the graphics, so the 3D could have a really good effect.
