Those who still haven't had the chance to experience the PSP entries in the God of War series will get their chance to own remastered versions of both games in PS3 package come September 13th. PlayStation Plus subscribers in the US, though, can get an early taste of the HD action this week.
Sony has announced over on the US PlayStation blog that PS Plus subscribers will be getting a demo of the remastered version of God of War: Ghost of Sparta tomorrow, August 30th. The same demo will then be made available to the general public on September 6th. In case you haven't seen how the remasters stack up against the originals, here's a comparison video.
The Ghost of Sparta remaster will feature full 1080p HD graphics and stereoscopic 3D. Its companion in the God of War: Origins Collection, God of War: Chains of Olympus, will have the same upgrades. The collection will also feature full trophy support and will include extra content from Ghost of Sparta, namely the God of War: Game Directors Live roundtable video and Legionnaire Kratos & Forest of the Forgotten.
