Firefights erupt on Mobile Factory, abandoned base in Killzone 3 next week |

Killzone 3 players are getting a new map pack next week, and developer Guerrilla Games is whetting appetites by previewing two of the pack's four new multiplayer maps on the US PlayStation blog.
One map is called Lente Missile Base. This 24-player Warzone map is set on an abandoned missile base at the edge of the Kaznan Jungle. Life on the base starts to get a lot more interesting when ISA and Helghan forces stumble upon the base and find that a lot of its systems are still operational, including a missile system that suddenly starts firing.
The other map being previewed is the 16-player Guerrilla Warfare map, Mobile Factory. Both factions vie for control of the Mobile Factory, one of the largest vehicles from the game's single-player campaign. Points of interest include a pair of portable miniguns and the heavy duty scrap metal shredders on the bottom of the facility that can turn those who fall into them into mincemeat.
Both the Lente Missile Base and the Mobile Factory maps will be included in the "From the Ashes" downloadable map pack. It'll be available on June 21st for US$ 4.99. On the same day, Guerrilla and Sony will be releasing the DLC Bundle Pack which includes the Retro pack, the Steel Rain pack and the From The Ashes pack for US$ 9.99.
