Final Fantasy XIII-2 getting monthly DLC |

Square Enix has a lot of downloadable content for Final Fantasy XIII-2. Gamers -- those in Japan, at least -- can expect one to two DLC releases every month. These won't be single items either, but packs containing multiple items.
This was revealed by producer Yoshinori Kitase in an interview with Dengeki PlayStation. He declined to say anything about pricing, but promised a good balance between price and quality.
Kitase further said that the content will also involve actual gameplay elements. The first downloadable content pack announced for Japan, for example, includes Boss Monster Omega, an enemy that can be turned into a monster ally if you manage to defeat him. There will be a lot more of this kind of DLC, where players have to defeat an enemy first in order to gain access to a new item or ally.
The Final Fantasy XIII-2 development team is also working on integrating all of the game's downloadable items seamlessly into the event scenes. That shouldn't prove too hard to do since all of the game's event scenes are real time.
Final Fantasy XIII-2 is currently slated for release in Japan on December 15, in North America on January 31st, and in Europe on February 3rd. Remember not to spend all your money on it if you want to get the DLC.

I, among with the other ones who "bitch", did not bitch before. We were glad all along there was no DLC for FFXIII. We are only bitching now. You are mistaking others for us. It's not like the internet is all the same people who just complain no matter what is given to us. There will always be those who complain about one thing, and those who complain about another thing.. it is very rarely the SAME person bitching about both things, and if that happens it's usually because that person is either a "troll" or has gone through some serious changes in the way they think.
I actually didn't complain once about FFXIII, I was one of the minority that enjoyed it all the way through.
