As most of you probably know by now, with the leak of high level security keys, the PS3 scene was turned completely on its head a little over a week ago. Essentially should you be on a CFW option now, you will be all set for the foreseeable future. Many teams have released updated 4.21 custom firmware options for the community to sink their teeth into, but none can be so great as the hybrid option that I am about to introduce!

When it comes to PS3 hacking, unless you are using another Rebug version firmware, a lot of us have had to make a decision. Should we go with a CEX or DEX model console when we head into the hacked out universe. The DEX option offers more features and options, but in some senses it comes at the cost of less homebrew compatibility, so that side of things alone has kept a lot of people on the fence. Still, Rebug doesn't want you to have to struggle any longer with its new 4.21 custom firmware. With its newly redesigned Rebug Toolbox, your world will be more open than you know what to do with.
Really the big draw for this new firmware option is that now all users will have Dual LV2 Kernels. That means that switching your console from CEX to DEX on 4.21 is now an action that will quite literally take you seconds to accomplish. Once you have made your switch, it's also fair to note that the CEX and DEX modes are all completely and fully functional right out of the box, with ProDG support alongside QA Token compatibility as well. Linux lovers can also rejoice with the OtherOS++ option now being fully functional. There are of course other improvements in existing features, but when it comes to what's new here you seriously will find none better. The scene has just found its 4.21 standard!
