There is a wide array of custom firmwares available for users on 3.55. While they had their differences when first released, they have more or less become the same with tools that are available now. DemonHades and the rest of the team are looking to bring their style of custom firmware to those who have been hanging onto firmware 3.55.

The new firmware which is being dubbed JBM 3.55 will include the same features found in JFW-MA 3.56 DH such as TheGrid, plugins as well as the occasional service pack updates. The release of JBM 3.55 however, will spell the end for the 3.56 custom firmware. Due to this, the team will release a downgrader that will get the 3.56 faithful back to 3.55. The reason for this is that it will be a step in the right direction for the team. That and simply for the fact that the majority of homebrew and application support revolves around the 3.41 and 3.55 custom firmwares.

No specific timeframe has been given regarding the release of the new custom firmware.
