Ni No Kuni is the new game from the animation company, Studio Ghibili, that is being developed with Sony and whilst there is no Western release set yet, the Japanese release will be celebrated with a golden console with matching controller and copy of Ni No, called the Magical Edition.
Already priced at 33,780 yen (Approx $USD440) or just 8800 Yen for the game, Sony and Ghibili may be a match made in heaven much like Studio 4 degrees and their recent groundbreaking game Catherine. Sony has really stepped up their game with signing pretty good Japanese entertainment companies and following through with selling for markets which have a strong investment in Japan, but then get a follow through internationally.
This is in comparison to something like Nintendo and Operation Rainfall where their Japanese games sell quite well but they either do not bother translating or releasing the game internationally for one reason or another. Whether or not Ni No Kuni (roughly translated to Second Country or Another World) will get an international release is fairly certain considering how many Ghibli fans are in the Western World
