THQ and Volition software unfortunately went under the same problems as EA did earlier this week with PS3 players who did not recieve their free exclusive DLC.  When the exclusive content didn't materialize THQ and Sony announced a brand new series of terms and agreements to not anger fans by...giving them a game they probably already played.

That's right, players of Saints Row 3 could get Saints Row 2 for free from PSN for the next month and a half. I'm pretty sure this is not what PS3 gamers were promised back in E3, but people who have the game will be able to claim the second game, which is not bad by any means.  But if you've played SR3, I'm not sure if you'd wanna go back and play Saints Row 2.

Although, it is a different city...there are still a lot of fun mini-games...you can hit people in the balls...there's some pretty cool easter eggs...there's rocket launchers...there's pimps...you can customise your character....okay I might actually use that code when I get the game...oh wait.

Yes, unfortunately for moi, I'm in Australia and have yet to recieve my copy of Saints Row the Third and this offer is more for Americans and people who actually have the game.
