Earlier this year, I talked to the creators of the incredibly fun and well-made Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chickens, the incredibly fun puzzle/platformer/shooter...with chickens. The game has gone on to great critical acclaim and it looks like in order to keep fans laughing and shooting over the holiday season, they're offering the game on PSN for only $8.99 in Europe and Australia. There are plans for a US price drop in the coming weeks.
That's right starting tomorrow Rocketbirds will be that cheap. The game is a hell of a lot of fun and the new update includes more characters, missions and beautifully done stereoscopic 3D sound, which with that soundtrack and mixing just sounds beautiful. I'd love to see a version of the game on the PS Vita. It genuinely has that pick-up and play feel, even at the most difficult of times.
Anyway, the game is awesome, it's less than a pizza and you should get it now! Let me remind you of the chicken-based dialogue and jetpacks or are you just a chicken...BA-BAWK?!
