With the announcement of the completion of the Blu-ray specifications on CES 2006 by BDA, the productionalization of the PS3 is one more step closer.

Ken Kutaragi, the CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment answered the press’ questions happily after the conference: “We are not going to productionalize Blu-ray bu ourselves. The completion of the specification is what we are waiting for. We are now hoping to work out a release day of the PS3 soon.” His answer suggested very strong support to the Blu-ray format with the PS3.

This seriously is not good for the playstation....
"at least they aren't rushing it...all my blah blah blah" All your friends to not represent all 360 owners...there are many with glitched systems...but with any new released electronics problems will arise...look at past console launches(beside s nitendo i do not know of one problem with any nitendo system...but please enlighten me if you will) both the ps1 and ps2(and xbox) had issues at their first launch...so pointing at the 360"But they rushed it!" only makes you look more insecure.

This is bad news...face the facts.

I don't get it. How does pointing at the X360 and saying "They Rushed It!" make someone insecure? They're insecure because a product has a delayed launch, but wait, how can it be delayed if there was no release date in the first place? :o Anyway, the point is, that mofo ain't gonna die before it do come out so it's all good; no insecurity lol.

You say its "bad news" but that's basically hypocrisy for you. If something "bad" happens within the development of the PS3, it's good news to you, face the facts dude.

P.S. people will post anything if they're anonymous lol

how is it good news to me? Sony said they would release it in spring...if they don't...then it will be delayed..which is bad news...meaning they need to work on it because...something is wrong.

That is not good news....wow...twisting everything to sound perfect for a "perfect" system are we?
