Sony has revealed their first lineup of the Blu-ray movies.
As the pathbreaker, the PS3 has taken the charge of starting and keeping the position of the Blu-ray standard. Therefore, a plenteous movies lineup is very essential to the success.
The list of the movies are as followed:
- The Fifth Element
- Bram Stoker's Dracula
- Desperado
- For a Few Dollars More
- The Guns of Navarone
- Hitch
- House of Flying Daggers
- A Knight's Tale
- Kung Fu Hustle
- The Last Waltz
- Legends of the Fall
- Resident Evil Apocalypse
- Robocop
- Sense and Sensibility
- Stealth
- Species
- SWAT

I like a few of these (Fifth Element is one of my all time faves, and the Hong Kong stuff I nearly always enjoy). You can see they tried to cover every genre more or less, but I wouldn't soon buy a Blu-Ray edition of a movie unless it really utilised HD. So that's what I'm wondering about - what do we get on these discs, exactly?

Well, a great sign is when PS3 will be GOLD (Mass Production), when this happen, We will see a light in the end the tunnel.

Wtf. Ps3 updates is now stupid.
1.) blu-ray disks don't look like that anymore.
2.) blu-ray is a new format with it's own players. That's like calling dvds "ps2 movies".
3.) Only those who sm0ke children can live... Sorry... j00 phail0rz.

I only like one...dracula...i may just buy it. Hopefully they will have many extras...i want the blu ray near full( i know that sounds rediculous) but i want it to have more then the dvd edition.

well, you must realize that your preferences ALONE do NOT reflect the entire target demographic.
And with the update of more Blu-Ray movies (article above), the lineup is improved greatly
