The Blu-ray Disc Association today announced that they'll be presenting at this years CeBIT in Hannover Germany. Sony will also be among the hosts of the presentation. The press release titles: "Invitation to hear how the Blu-ray Disc Association (BDA) raises the
bar and provides consumers with a dramatic new home entertainment
experience". Here's the rest of press release:Hosted by major BDA members, including Philips, Pioneer, Sony and a leading Hollywood studio, this session will focus on the latest European developments and upcoming plans regarding THE next generation, high definition, optical disc format.
Showcasing new content and products, whilst announcing product availability dates, this press conference will highlight the unparalleled consumer entertainment experience available through the Blu-ray Disc format.
The press conference will finish at approx. 15:45CET, however we hope you can stay for a drink with BDA members afterwards, and view the demos on display.
