naehrwert is known throughout the PS3 Scene as the guy who's pushed tools such as the PS3MFW Builder and the "Friday" package. He's also known as the guy who's updating SCETool, a tool originally released by fail0verflow. SCETool is a command line executable that allows you to browse the internal files of the PS3's firmware and packages.
Here's the new stuff with this version:
Version 0.2.7:
- Added local NP license handling.
- Added option to override klicensee.
- Added option to disable section skipping (in SELF generation).
You are free to check SCETool out but remember, this tool was originally intended for developers. Thus, you'll be using this at your own risk. Nobody can be held responsible if there are any unintended side effects. You know, like your computer crashing or a satellite falling out of the sky. You can grab SCETool below.
