Playstation Move Gets the Racing Treatment

Ok so the market isn't really all that big but Sony has decided that it is big enough to produce its own Move Racing Wheel Controller. The peripheral will add a couple of features other than the obvious PlayStation Move support that some might like.  Some features such as extra rumble motors and the ability to control the throttle by twisting pivoting handles that will enhance a virtual motorcycle experience in many of the racing games.

This may be the first real Move controller to be put out by Sony or anyone that’s not just a cheap piece of plastic.  Although I will not be spending to much time looking for it as racing games aren't really my thing.  But if you are a racing fan then this could be just the type of peripheral that you have been patiently waiting for. Enjoy the video below of the new PlayStation Move controller.

I still think this thing looks incredibly weird... Why did they need a racing wheel like this? There are so many other options that don't require the PS Move.

And at what expense?
The only people who might buy this are folk with a Move already, not a massive amount.
Those PS3 owners who love racing games will have the Logitech wheel already.
No one is going to buy this, wireless wheels seem to always compromise.

And, wow, long throw triggers for throttles, I wonder where I have seen that "innovation" before.... 360 controller, the one that hasn't needed a major revision to be effective since 2005!

The twist throttle is very nice touch. However, since it's not stationary I question how well it would work. I've not pulled the trigger on Move yet and this wont change that....I just don't see anything worth the expense yet.
