Ocean Marketing Guy calls quits after Penny Arcade exposure |

"I will personally burn everything I've made to the f**king ground if I think I can catch them in the flames." Sounds like the words of a serious man. These are the words of the closing statement of a recent update to the Ocean Marketing email scandal that rocked the internet in the past 48 hours. One of the guys at Penny Arcade received an email just after midnight on the 28th and was incredulous to hear that they'd be hearing from the lawyers over at Ocean. This all turned around 7 hours later when Paul sent an email saying:
You have the power Mike Please make it stop.
Just after 8, Mike got a full reply and apology for Paul's action saying that he was sorry that he didn't know "how big" the Penny Arcade site was or that Mike "ran Pax." Paul did say that he was very sorry and that his life was now incredibly difficult due to the spam. Gabe ends the message with saying there is a difference "between being sorry and being sorry you got caught." Gabe compares Paul to a bully and then mentions the case of Jack Thompson in the past.
It is more of a stance of hate the player and not the game as Paul was being an all out douché-nozzle when it came to his job. The Avenger Controllers are incredibly beneficial for gamers and provide a great alternative to those in need. However, the handling of the matter from their side, was both unnecessary and uncalled for. The gaming community can be childish at times but there is no need to cause so much grief on a company when an individual is at fault through their own stupidity, arrogance and blindness to how big a situation can be.
