If you’ve been looking forward to colourful and original titles coming to the Vita, then look no further than Guacamelee!, a game whose title just has to be screamed, Austin Powers style, and reputation is similiar to the quirky originality of the PSP's hit Loco Roco.

With an art style that looks like a mixture of the Wii’s ‘Lost Winds’ and the PSP’s ‘Exit’,  the game is pretty eye catching, and looks well suited to handheld and bite-sized gaming session.

I can only imagine that it will look amazing on the Vita’s bright screen and the animations looks fluid as fluids in the video provided. It’s not just a mindless platformer, mind you. It prides itself on having a decent combat system, incorporating wrestling into the mix, along with the ability to switch between the worlds of the living and the dead to get past obstacles. It sounds like the game has a bit of everything that you want, including two player co-op.

The game will hit this year, and I’m predicting good reviews and cult-classic status already.

Meh, still prefer something cute like LocoRoco and fun like Rayman Origins.

It looks semi-decent judging from this trailer, though the name is brilliant.
I like the flamenco style music that plays over the video too: It kind of reminds me of Spanish football on Sky Sports.

Ok this looks like fun so I guess the Vita is going the right way. Loco Roco/Patapon, awesome stuff right there so anything a step or two behind is still good stuff.
