Sony not looking hopeful about 3rd party Vita exclusives

The internet's Vita pre-order purchasers went into a tiny panic over the weekend when Sony released a video that was picked up by every video game news outlet, from the Playstation Blog, saying clearly that "first party software titles will be available on the same day via Playstation Vita game cards at retail stores and digitally via the Playstation Network"

The video is below but I question how specific the video says first party and makes no mention of the third party titles such as the work of Drinkbox or Capcom. You would think they still make money from third party titles and they want the games and handheld to sell really good on opening day, so why is there no mention of them?

Some of you may have seen the video before and may know that Sony have a pretty good relationship with third party providers, such as Naughty Dog, Valve and Insomniac, but their handheld titles may just not get the same respect as the big titles do.

Poor marketing or specific statement? What's your call?

Its an (badly disguised) advert not a prediction for the future effort of game devs.
They clearly make more money for their own games and thus making people more aware of them is better for them.

Letting third party devs pay for/ make there own marketing strategy is not a bad thing or a forecast for the future.

ND is owned by Sony and have been for ages.

Valve is not really a big console fan let alone handheld.

Insomniac have burning skies coming, its looks like they are giving it all they have on that one and there are many third parties releasing games for the system.

Out of Sony's reported massive budget for adverts I think its safe to say that third part games will be featured in future adverts...mainly as they already are...just check most of the adverts now, most of them that show gameplay show games not developed or funded by Sony.

The problem with Sony is too much of what they do is badly done and while this might just be seen as one badly misjudged advert it's the combination of everything Sony does badly that means they so messed up, but finally Kaz Hirai is starting to make some basic common sense about his plans to improve Sony and saying they need to focus more on the software side, so maybe in the future they will start dealing better with developers and making more effort with the console features.
