really now, im sure monster hunter is only a big name on the psp, from the sales ive seen, ive never seen or heard no one play it on wii, without the psp versions monster hunter would be no where, im sure 4 is coming out on vita 2, company's like to announce all versions before playstatios cuz it would be most obvious, they prolly tryina get a real nintendo fan base cuz the wii games sold shit compared to psp, and thats messed cuz psp games dont even sell lol. but yeah, its a marketing strategy more likely because they want it to sell on 3ds as well as vita, because they no it will sell on vita no questions asked, and they didnt say it was exclusive even once and they always say it is when its a exclusive. and apparently a version of number 3 (prolly upgraded psp version with trophies, will be it) is suppose to be on the vita, ive seen in a article recently so we'll see
