Some Updates on VHBL and Urbanix |

As our writers have previously reported, the PS Vita scene has had quite complicated times as of late. Thanks to the recent leak of a Vita custom firmware alongside a new game exploit, it has been hard for everybody to get their story straight. However, in response to all of the confusion the developers over at Wololo stopped by their site to give us at least a little bit of an update as to what has been going on with the creation of a new version of their VHBL loader that will be running on the current 1.81 firmware model.

Slightly different from my source material recent news does indicate that the story has indeed changed with regards to the availability of Urbanix on the PSN. Earlier in the morning, European gamers were reminded of a special treat in that some were able to download the game for free thanks to a Sony promotion based within Facebook. However, times have changed and things have become more hectic, because as I am typing the exact title in question has been pulled from all major markets to stop the spread of this newly announced vulnerability. Hopefully some of you were lucky enough to snag it when the announcement was first made a few days ago, but for now it's gone baby gone.
With all of that game news out of the way, those with the capability are probably wondering what is going on with their favorite homebrew loader. After all the team behind VHBL has usually been incredibly quick at pumping out new releases, so what's up with the delay now? In order to squashed any rumors that these coders were not aware of the hack in the first place, Wololo has revealed that they are working on it but the code needs to be refined to capitalize on the Urbanix exploit. For those of you that are impatient, it has been suggested that you can build your own VHBL by using the source code should you be so inclined. Either way, the good news is a new loader is making some big strides. Odds are you will be hearing from us again very shortly.

The exploit is now out on EU/US/JAP on wololo's forum. Yes it can run ISO's, no you can not get it unless you already bought Urbanix. Although they said they may try porting it to Monster Hunter so if you own that game with VHBL then you're clear.
