Now we have the ‘slightly-more-attractive-than-Kevin-Butler’ Abby Reyes from Sony posting a new video to her Sony Blog page showing the unboxing of a PS Vita and giving a rundown of all the contents in the pretty box.
What was interesting to see was the inclusion of AR cards. Sony sure do like ‘borrowing’ ideas from Nintendo. But hey, who cares, fun gimmick is fun gimmick.
The video shows the unveiling of the first edition bundle which I wrote about before, which if you pre-order, can grab on the 15th of Feb instead of waiting until the 22nd like everyone else.
The hard case for the Vita looks damn hard, with slots for not only the game cards, but also the USB cable. And yes, you can charge the Vita via its USB port, unlike the PSP.
I've found charging consoles for fools anyway; everyone knows that the way to go is to spend as much money as possible on stacking up on 3rd party batteries. Let’s see who’s winning when it comes to a long journey, baby.
As announced before already on QJ, the first edition will indeed come with a 4GB memory card and a free PSN game, so I’ll be sure to get very angry when I get my Vita long after everyone else, cursing why free PSN games and charging consoles are for fools.

"veeta" (the way they say it in the video) sounds too much like velveeta, which is never good when your product sounds like a block of cheeseish product.
