22/02/12 - That's February the 12th, 2012.

If you live in the UK, Australia or anywhere in Europe, this is the date to put in your calanders, as long as the new Sony handheld isn't delayed

That's how we write our dates and that's the date we'll be taking off school, work or from whatever it is that we do, to head down to our local good old game shop and slapping our Euros and Dollars down and recieving our new piece of technology which Sony has graciously made for us.

The importance of the release outside of the US is hopefully to garner more third-party support, as while in Japan they have a lot of developers, overseas developers such as Rockstar and Ubisoft have yet to really sign on to the next-gen handheld. I think with all the hype and fun that came out of GamesCom and E3, I think Sony might have another winner on their hands rather than a late bloomer...
