Game time is finally here for those waiting to use homebrew on the latest 1.67 firmware. As you read here and just about on every other site following the Vita, Super Collapse 3 was the game used with this exploit. It was announced ahead of the actual release and as always, Sony removed it from the store.

If you were quick enough in obtaining the title, you can begin prepping your Vita for this version of VHBL. Installation remains the same as the other two releases:

Extract the HBL archive matching your version of the game in your CMA PSP Savedata folder. It is a folder on your PC named PSSAVEDATA/[lots of random characters here]. If you don’t know where it is, check your settings in CMA.

Connect your PS Vita to the PC through the CMA, it should give you the possibility to copy the savedata from your PC to the Vita. If not, you probably extracted it in the wrong folder. (Note: You will also want to install some homebrews with a similar technique, read the section below)

And to trigger VHBL:

To run HBL, start the game, select “Continue” in the Main Menu. Load the VHBL savegame, then go to “High Scores”. At this point, VHBL should start.

It is recommended that you use OpenCMA to protect yourself from any mandatory and/or silent updates that Sony may push to keep you locked out from your homebrew. You can grab VHBL at Wololo's site below, if you haven't already.

well the hbl works fine and installs most homebrew without issue... however playing is another story. Can't get most of the games to last 1 minute without crashing sadly.

well hopefully that'll improve later on or i just screwed something up but other than that i'm really happy with my vita for the time being
