For those fans of the quirky and dark world of the Oddysee, you’ll be happy to know that Munch’s Oddysee will be seeing a HD release for both the PS3 and PS Vita this year in quarter two.

Stranger’s Wrath recently went under the same treatment, so one can only hope that Abe’s Oddysee and Exodus will undergo the same in a little package soon. Am I the only person to have loved those game, based on the Playstation demo disc that came with the console?

Anyway, Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee is one of those underplayed games that seems to have built a cult following, which always seems to intrigue me enough to try it out. A launch title for the Xbox, not many people got to play it, so I’m hoping this one will make its way into my hands this year.

Along with Final Fantasy X and the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, it’s looking like I’ll be spending the next year or so going blind due to the Vita alone.
