Homebrew On Vita's 1.67? You Got It! |
Listed in: News Tags: ps vita hacks, ps vita homebrew, thecobra, wololo
The Vita has seen quite a decent amount of hacks, exploits and proofs of concept. We've seen wololo's Vita Half Byte Loader (VHBL) survive up until Sony took down Everybody's Tennis and Motorstorm from the PSN Store. Not to worry though, there's things happening for firmware 1.67 and thecobra is the one making them happen.
thecobra has managed to put together a Hello World via an user mode exploit that he and a few others discovered. To make everything better, VHBL is already ported and working with the exploit. Wololo mentions that the only step left at this point is the polishing off by adding some tweaks to it. Once that's done and the final tests have concluded, it will be made available to the public, along with the name of the game for this one.
Now, you can have the best of both worlds. You can have the latest firmware, homebrew and online capabilities. I'm sure that you want to take advantage, so keep your eyes peeled on Wololo's blog, for the release of VHBL but more importantly, the game.
