Flash0 Contents Of Vita's PSP Emulator Dumped |
Listed in: News Tags: flash0, half byte loader, homebrew, psp emulator, vhbl, vita

Going from revision to revision while using VHBL can be a bit painful, if you have a non working homebrew and wonder if it's going to work on the next one. However, this advancement has the ability to put all of that to rest. An anonymous developer has been able to dump the entire flash0 contents of the Vita's PSP emulator. The flash0 contents consist of everything needed to run the emulator, including the Vita's kermit modules and kernel keys.
With all of this dumped and readily available, this can grant kernel access to the PSP emulator. At the moment, all three of the exploits that VHBL use are user mode based. Therefore, not all functionalities are available for use. With kernel mode, nearly every homebrew can be ran without issues using the emulator and the idea of a backup loader can be realized.
You can grab the flash0 dump from below, if you want to take a look through it.

I'm guessing PS3 also does not have a working PS1 emulator.

PS: I don't know of any paid emulators for android. All the ones I've used are free.
