Deadmau5 Loses Demo Vita In Taxi

Deadmau5 (pronounced deadmouse) is the DJ for the upcoming PS Vita game Sound Shapes. To celebrate this at the Spike VGA’s he was given ‘the only demo unit
outside Sony walls’. That's pretty cool.

Thanks to his Twitter he has kindly given us all the gory details, including the fact that the taxi company he used to get home had around 500 taxi’s on the streets at the time he called in for a ride.

Some extremely lucky person out there has their hands on it now no doubt. This could be a taxi driver, a hacker, or hopefully my grandmother. If you are in LA make sure you keep a lookout for it. To hand it in to Sony, obviously.

i wasn't saying that they were all wrong. maybe i placed the "reply" in the wrong spot, but i was siding with Vitralizer and saying that just because you have a toy from a game/movie doesn't make you cool. i meant that a DJ who has a replica video game sword is about as "special" as anyone else who has lightsaber replicas, or Lord of the Rings swords, or any other merchandise like that. Owning that stuff equates to "big fucking deal" and/or "waste of money"

@ chuck.fx: once again, people don't get humor/sarcasm.

gamer or not, celebs get free shit at every event they go to. I'm sure if George Clooney was at this thing, they would have given him one too. If they did, do you think he would have taken it home and posted twitpics of himself playing it? no, he would have left it in the fucking lobby.

just like any celebrity who gets one of those golden popcorn buckets at the MTV movie awards - those get thrown out the window on the limo ride home.

At least Sony hasn't done an Apple and deliberately keep "losing" their prototypes just to get some news coverage.

Dumbass. Apple doesn't purposely lose their devices. An engineer lost a iPhone 4 prototype at a bar. That's the only iPhone prototype that's been lost. Reports of a lost iPhone 5 or other Apple devices at the same bar are a bunch of bs. The bar is claiming more lost devices for publicity. Apple doesn't deliberately lose devices; they would never-ever-ever 'lose' them on purpose for news coverage. Anyone that says otherwise is an idiot.
