Assassinate On The Go |

When Assassin’s Creed came out, its visuals and world were a testament to the power of the PS3 and 360. Now the Vita is having its moment to flex its muscles and show off, as Assassin’s Creed is touted to be hitting the handheld this year.
A NeoGAF report states that the latest Game Informer has a preview of ‘Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation’, a Vita title that will feature a female assassin in the lead. From a mixed French/African heritage, the game’s protagonist will be called Aveline, who’ll be tearing shizzle up in New Orleans. All of it. With no loading screens.

Sounds juicy, and as long as she isn’t wearing a nun’s habit, sounds interesting. The title is apparently set to be released October 30th, on the same day as Assassin’s Creed III, so we can also hope for some kind of interconnectivity between the two titles. It’s also nice to see two separate games for the same series released simultaneously for handhelds and consoles.
This could still be a rumour, but it’s not looking likely; more expected from E3 soon.
