Zone of the Enders, Metal Gear Solid HD collections en route to PS Vita |

It may not be the new Zone of the Enders game that fans have been hounding Hideo Kojima about, but the upcoming Zone of the Enders HD Collection is still nothing to sneer at. Packing both main entries in the series -- Zone of the Enders and Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner -- the collection's feature slate makes it a must-have for series fans.
The HD collection, as well as the one being made for the Metal Gear Solid franchise -- have already been dated for a 2012 release on PS3 and Xbox 360. At TGS 2011, Konami announced that gamers who plan to get Sony's upcoming PS Vita handheld will be getting their own versions of the two HD collections too.
One of the major features being touted by Sony for the PS Vita is its "Transfarring" ability, which basically means moving and playing saved games between the handheld and the PS3. Both HD collections will reportedly allow PS3 and PS Vita owners to take advantage of this feature. Both collections are currently slated to arrive in 2012 as well.
These two games are but among a few Kojima-related announcements made duing Sony's TGS 2011 press conference. The Metal Gear mastermind is also working on a new original project for PS3 and PS Vita which will see him acting as both designer and director. If you include that then next year (or possibly the next two years) seems like it's going to be great for fans of his particular brand of mindf*ckery.
