Announced last year at Tokyo Game Show, this game is a beautiful mix of old Japanese art and storytelling with incredibly fun platforming and gameplay. I think the trailer truly speaks for itself.

XSEED Games have really outdone themselves here with one of the most beautiful and creative games I've seen in quite a while. The game is a mix of the art-style of Okami and the gameplay is reminiscent of a few touchscreen games I've seen where you create simple platforms for your character to get to the next area. 

The game looks like an insane amount of fun with a great storyline to boot.  The gameplay is intuitive and has you summoning spirits and having a hell of a lot of fun drawing your own platforms to get to where you need to go.

The game is incredibly reminiscent of the PS2 game (and subsequent DS sequel and Wii Port) Okami. The game looks like a lot of fun and will be even better with the Vita touch screens. Hopefully some kind of competitive mode will ring out the rest of the game and you can battle friends for best time or best score.
